PT Hasnur Jaya Utama ( HJU ), A well known South Kalimantan based company and PT Padangbara Sukses Makmur, an experience well managed coal trading company have amicably agreed to develop the coal and infrastructure business in South Kalimantan.
They realized the agreement by establishing PT Tapin Suthra Berjaya, a joint venture company with equally owned share by the two parent companies.

PT Tapin Suthra Berjaya has acquired more than 99% ownership interest in PT Bhumi Rantau Energi ( BRE ), a mining company with 2,096 hectare coal concession area in Rantau-Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan Province.
The mine is located about 100 km North of Banjarmasin, the capital city of the province.

PT Bhumi Rantau Energi began its production in 2001 with annual coal ouput of about 1,000,000 tons. As the coal reserved is huge and supported by adequate infrastructure and facilities, there is no doubt to increase the production gradually up to 10,000,000 tons per year by the year 2023.
